Rovers V Douglas Valley.
The game kicked off on a warm and sunny afternoon with rovers looking a bit rusty after a 2 week rest from playing in the league. This wasnt evident in players like Hair and errrrrrrrrrr,,,,errrrrrrrr,errrrrrrrr,ummmmm.
Nearly everybody looked knackered.
Valley starting the game with 10 men helped a bit as rovers were the best team by far and doing all the attacking, It wasnt long before the wonderful Greyeye made it 1 / 0 with a great finnish. Rovers well on top and soon it was 2 / 0 when Lional Richie fumbled in at the far post. Valley had some surprises up there sleeves when out of nowhere up popped another player and they had 11. This was bad for Rovers as the likes of Riding had got used to having nobody to play against. It wasnt long before the valley winger made Riding look 50 ( instead of 45 ) to put the ball across the goal for an easy tap in 2 / 1. Rovers now needed some magic from somewhere but it was not to be as Hess duffed a cross which went in the net by mistake 3 / 1. Lucky Stu, was heard saying he meant it but i'm not having that crap.
Half time.
Manager, Come on lads we need to pick are game up as were in danger of letting them back in it.
1st team captain, The boss is right let start playing.
Riding, I think they have two wingers playing against me its not fair.
Hess, I went for the goal, it wasnt a cross " Honestly" ask our Jack.

Second half.
Off we go with Valley bringing on David Beckham, He was so good he right away became the second best player on the field after Hair.
He transformed Valley but struggled to keep up with the energetic and youthfull Hair who out classed him in midfield. ( Even i dont believe that b**ocks). Soon it was 3 /2 as valley starded to pressure Rovers, On came Dainty to strengthen the failing defence.an unhappy B.T. making way for him as he trugged of was heard mumbling " Why cant i be young again i have the hair and everything".. Rovers needed some magic and this time it came in the shape of Hair ( again) with a corner the real Beckham would be proud of. Curling in with everybody beaten, but Hilton feeling a little left out had to put his head on it to claim the goal. 4 / 2. Pressure all the way now but Rovers held out for the win.
good game and well earned points.
See you all on wed night when it will be Deggs's last game for Rovers, untill that Welsh team fire him off, Ha Ha.
