Hope your all resting for the season to come coz i am.
Time to recharge your batteries is now because in a few weeks time were off again. We need to get some fitness training done and start to practise some things like, e.g. Corners, Throw ins, freekicks, and so on.
Hope some of you young lads are going to make a real push for a first team shirt because some of you are easy good enough. BUT,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
you MUST start doing the right things in training, e.g working hard and listening. Dont miss the pre season training and expect to walk into the team when there's a friendly to play because thats not going to happen for anybody. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
I am looking forward to next season and i hope you lads are to, so lets get a good start and really start building a TEAM that can win some silver wear, Starting with the Jimmy Turner Memorial Cup. That cup is rightfully ours so its time we won it back. Hope your all up for the challenge.

Downt at the rovers yesterday ( all day ) WORKING !
Its not football but it is esential for the club, no ones in charge you just turn up throw in your ideas or muscle power and get stuck in.
you would be amazed at what you can achieve together - a great team building exercise.
In saying that our pitch looks fantastic, both goals and center circle have been re-seeded grass has been cut it looks in near perfect condition makin it even harder being down their and not kicking a ball about although me and dicko both found a couple of good balls in the trees that we were cutting down (think they were wayward shots from the great andy hair) . Dave Walker found an antique hammer from the first world war and Alex and Matt discovered the butty shop at the top of the lane,now that was a good find along with big dicko's coffee.

WE ARE HAVIN ANOTHER WORK DAY NEXT WEEK 28TH HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE DONT BRING YOUR BOOTS BRING A SAW,AXE, CHAINSAW, STRIMMER ETC...

For me next season started yesterday, it continues next week and this is the start of my 20th season at wigan rovers and i got a really good feeling about this one.
I think weve got everything in place to be sucsessfull on and off the pitch two great managers and a fantastic squad with some of the best young talent comin thru that i have seen in a long while.
get down there lads stand up and be counted play every match like its your last ever game. Be a big part of Wigan Rovers !

I flew over ze Vigan Rovers arena in ze Zeppelin on Zaturday only six vorkers ver seen! Dis is nicht gudd. You vill all be at Ze Vigan Rovers arena on Zaturday or you vill all be rounded up and shot! Herr Hair vill not be ze marksman because is aim is nien gudt!!!!! Ze must listen to ze General Alex he ist a fine leader of ze men and is vill must be obeyed!!!

That has got to be Stu Unsworth coz he's the only Krowt we know.
Nice entry Bob very well put. Are you sure you've only been down at the Rovers for 19 seasons coz you look a lot older than that.

For your imformation mr. hair i may have wigan rovers running thru my viens but rovers isnt the only club ive played for !
I did 15 years as an apprentice at various other clubs ( no youth teams ) before being allowed to wear a rovers shirt.
as for our german friend i thought the ulkermans were back in town ?
if you put 'great' in your spell checker it comes up with 'very big fat git who's eaten too many pies' .

have you heard :- Alicks has passed his coaching badge.
So now when we go to the dogs at christmasmas Alicks can drive the coach.

Dont know about you girls but i cant wait for the new season to start,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Not only for the football, But i love getting on the comp on a saturday night and taking the piss out off the Dingles.
Lets face it, one of them does something worth taking the piss out of every week. HA HA i cant wait.
