Rovers / Atherton 1/4 final replay.

It was better weather than last week down at the rovers with everybody feeling good about todays game. Everybody changed and warming up well before Atherton arrived.
no Grayeye today but the legendry hatchet man Unsworth was back looking very scary with his face. itching to kick somebody, maybe the ref he doesnt care. Game on.................. Rover the best team with Hair and his sidekick Vaal looking brillant in midfield. First chance to rovers with sidekick (i mean Vaal ) racing through only the keeper to beat, all the rovers team and some of the atherton team shouting " TAKE YOUR TIME" But no, powers a shot which goes for a throw in, Yes a THROW IN.
Chance after chance missed but rovers playing some great football so no need to worry, or is there ????????? "DISASTER" long hopefull ball over Unsworths head, he can easly get there but no, here come super keeper Alex shouting "KEEPERS", Unsworth leaves it but Alex is 25 yards away with the atherton striker thinking its his birthday. 1 /0
Alex blames Unsworth, as you would in a crisis. Never accept the blame is a club rule so nice one Al.
Rovers playing some great football but cannot score.
Half time.
Manager,we are the best team lets keep working hard and it will come.
Alex, it was Unsworths fault.
Unsworth, i will kill you in a min.

Second half kicks off with tim missing 2 chances in as many mins, but rovers still the best team in the world,( Sorry i got carried away then ).
B.T Looking good flying up and down the wing like a 50 year old.
Williams on other wing like a 51 year old.
Seddon hardly breaking into a sweat in front of the back 3.
the back 3 totaly fu*ked due to this.
Hair and Vaal looking world class in midfield.
Tim and Deggs up front looking errrrrrrrrr old.
Sigh of relief from Atherton as B.T is replaced by Callum. ha ha
Callum goes up front and causes endless trouble in the air with the centre half. Rovers miss chance after chance. All of a sudden theres light at the end of the tunnel, Hair fantasticly controls a pass from about 70 yards with only the best keeper in the league to beat thats all. Carries the into the box shoots,,,,,lucky bugger saves with his foot. That was the story of the day for rovers and the game ends 1 / 0.
Out of the cup but not down hearted.
Some good banter in the changing room with Alex, all in good fun..................................Or is it ??????????????????????

Excellent report, personally, I believe every word! But who is this other Andy Hair we seem to have signed??

good footballers dont sweat, im always in position no need to rush and sweat. Andy that was their right winger playing in goal. it was harder to hit his foot than score hahahahaha
